Commonly referred to as Pagsanjan Falls, the Magdapio Falls is a 318-ft (97 meters) waterfalls located at the town of Cavinti, Laguna. There is no direct public transporation from Manila to Pagsanjan, Laguna. TRIPinas Travel and Tour Ventures will handle all the planning and travel details for you. What we offer:
Pagsanjan falls can be reached either with a boat ride (shooting the rapids) or with a ladder system (the vertical trek).
Don't miss the exhilarating raft ride that will bring you right under the main falls and into the devil's cave! You can aslo swim there.

Package 1 : Pagsanjan falls tour - shooting the rapids

The boat ride consists of a 17 kilometer trip in a banca (local canoe), shooting 16 rapids, and passing through gorges over a hundred feet high, all the while guided by two banceros strategically placed at each end of the banca. When you reach the main fall you can swim and use the raft.

Package 2 : Pagsanjan falls tour - Vertical trek

For the more adventurous, enjoy an easy rappelling with ladders and stairs over the gorge (children must be at least 13 years old.) When you reach the main fall you can swim and use the raft

Pagsanjan Falls and Town: Fast Facts

  • Pagsanjan is located in the province of Laguna, around 100 kilometers south of Manila.
  • The town of Pagsanjan was originally part of the city of Lumban and was officially created on 1668 by eight Chinese and Japanese betel nuts merchants. The town soon attracted more and more residents and became the capital of Laguna province until 1858.
  • Many beautiful houses were constructed during this time and it's still posssible to see some of them on the main street, Calle Real. 
  • Puerta Real or the town gate arch was built at the entrance of Pagsanjan on 1880 in honor of the town's patron saint, Lady of Guadalupe.
  • An infamous stamp called " Pagsanjan Falls" was released by the US on 1932 and was popular for having an incorrect print since the stamp showed the Vernal Falls in California.
  • In 1976, famous American movie director shot the last part "Apocalypse Now" at Pagsanjan Falls. 
  • Pagsanjan Falls are now one of the main attraction in Luzon and it's easy to visit them on a daytour from Manila.
